SECOND QUARTER 2016 BY THE NUMBERS
• Single family homes in Connecticut saw a 9.4% jump in sales year over year and a slight increase in sales volume by 0.13%.
• The condominium market saw an increase of 2.03% in number of sales year over year but sales volume went down 3.62%.
• Average price for single family homes decreased 8.48% and condominiums decreased by 5.54% year over year. Average days on market for single family homes and condominiums remained flat.
• Sales $2 - $3 million jumped from 48 units in First Quarter 2016 to 101 units, a 52% increase. There were 163 total sales over $2 million dollar during Second Quarter 2016 versus 100 sales in First Quarter 2016
